Emergency flood in elementary school

One of our local elementary schools had an abundance of water in it during one Long Island's spring storms. School was in session so this was an urgent matter. This needed to be taken care of immediately so the school session would not be disturbed.  SERVPRO® of Babylon/Deer Park was called to solve the problem and have the school back to normal and safe for the students return.

When SERVPRO went in the first thing that we needed to take care of was to clear everything off the floors. Also, get rid of anything that was damaged in the water. After that, all area (floors, walls, etc.) were sanitized and then it was dried properly. It was important to be done quickly and efficiently as to prevent the threat of mold to grow. The situation was taken care of professionally.
