It is extremely important to have your HVAC system cleaned and maintained yearly. Most people will take out the permanent filters, wash and reinstall them.  Others take out the paper filters, discard and replace and think they are done. Please keep in mind this is not the correct way to fully clean and maintain your system.  Your system should be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. Keep in mind, your forced-air system could be a perfect, out of sight way to spread mold, dust, or other allergens throughout your home.
