Heavy glue on carpeting
This building in Bayshore, N.Y. had used an adhesive to keep carpet runners in place, when they removed them, this was what was left behind. Glue had become imbedded in the carpet fibers leaving these areas sticky and unsightly. We were asked to come in and evaluate whether it would be more cost effective to just replace the carpeting which ran through four different hallways. We removed all glue with solvents created at SERVPRO' facility and cleaned carpeting saving the company thousands of dollars plus work interruption. We now have a client that wants us to maintain their flooring for the future.
